Who is Jere Thompson, Jr.?

Jere Thompson, Jr. is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ambit Energy. One thing Jere likes to say is, “Never let good enough be good enough.” It’s something he takes pride in, and it shows. Before Ambit, Jere was at the forefront of the telecommunications industry, founding CapRock Fiber Networks to build fiber and broadband networks across Texas. Want to know more? Who is Chris Chambless?

Chris Chambless is the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Ambit Energy. How was Ambit Energy started?

Like all great ventures, Ambit Energy was founded over… a turkey sandwich? No, really! In 2006, Co-Founders Jere Thompson, Jr. and Chris Chambless met at a sandwich shop in Addison, Texas. A few important decisions were made between bites that day: to build the finest and most-respected retail energy company in America, provide affordable electricity and gas and to never sacrifice the company’s integrity for growth.
