Do I need a MyAmbit Account ID and Password to use the Ambit Energy Customer Skill for Amazon Alexa?

Yes, for Texas customers your MyAmbit Account and the Ambit Energy Customer Skill for Amazon Alexa will use the same User ID and Password.

  1. If you are a current customer and already have a MyAmbit Account, use your existing MyAmbit Account User ID and Password to sync with the Alexa skill.
  2. If you are a current customer and have not yet signed up for MyAmbit Account, you can set up your User ID and password by registering online through your My Ambit Account at www.ambitenergy.com.
  3. If you have not yet enrolled with Ambit Energy, you will be able to use the Ambit Energy Customer Skill for Amazon Alexa but won’t have access until you are assigned an account number and have set up your MyAmbit Account.
  4. Once the skill is enabled and you are connected, you can start the conversation. All you have to do is say “Alexa, ask The Spark……”
